Thirst Project Relies on Compassion
The Thirst Project offers many ways for people to get involved and help those in need of clean water. From donating money to volunteering, the project allows people to get involved how ever they'd like.
As said on their website, "Love Requires Action". The founders of the project understood that building hype and awareness means nothing if action isn't being taken. The website reinforces that thought and attempts to show people no matter how small a contribution, it is still helping.
The Thirst Project also tries to convey to people that "compassion is stronger than sacrifice." Basically telling contributors that they should help if they want to, showing people that the sense of satisfaction you receive from changing peoples lives should be welcomed.
While it seems people are merely providing clean water to others, the Thirst Project group believes people are providing life for these needy communities.
One of the projects strongest recruiting tactics is attending high schools and colleges in hopes that the younger generations will see how important it is to help their fellow man. With the help of creative events at schools, the project has spoken to hundreds of thousands of students.
The project allows people to volunteer and help in anyway possible. From raising funds to organizing events, the Thirst team's effort to help others is undeniable.
